About Us

Jett AutoCare has been in business since 1985. It started as a partnership between Billy Jack Little, who had been in the service station business since the 1960's, and Gary Jett, who had been managing the business since 1981. Billy Jack Little was a very successful service station owner operator and mentor to Gary, which is where he learned the importance of good customer service and quality workmanship. In 1989 Gary became the sole owner of the Little Texaco, located on the corner of Roswell Street and Fairground Street in Marietta, Georgia. In 1997 Texaco Inc. and Shell Oil Co. agreed to a partial merger combining the two businesses in the West and Midwest. In 2001 Shell Oil Co. bought out Texaco Inc. and by 2002 all Texaco Inc. service stations had their name changed to Shell. During that time is when Gary had the name Little's Texaco changed to Jett Service Station with the now Shell logo.

In 2010 Gary decided to purchase a large garage across the street from the service station to accommodate the growth of the business and the city of Marietta. The name was then changed from Jett Service Station to Jett AutoCare. Gary felt the new name reflected the changing times and the emphasis of caring for the needs of the customers and their vehicles.

In 2020 the Shell Service Station was sold, and Gary Jett formed a partnership with the business' managers Paul Pringle and Shane Terrell. In 2022 Gary retired and sold the business to Paul and Shane, who bring years of automotive repair experience to the business, along with a commitment to continue to provide the same great customer service and quality workmanship that has been the staple of Jett AutoCare for so many years. Their goal is to serve the city of Marietta and the surrounding communities for many more years to come.
